Between 2002 and 2004, the Chicago-based False Walls label released six CDs, which spanned post-rock, acoustic improvisation, electronics and a radio project. The label was dormant after 2004, with the original six CDs out of print. In 2021, following a re-location to Faversham (UK), the label re-launched, with its old catalogue of six releases being made available for download for the first time.

In 2022-23, the label released its first new physical CDs, by Helena Celle; Cindytalk; Henry Dagg & Evan Parker; a 4 CD/book boxset by Andrew Poppy; Gene Coleman; Astrïd; and Kevin Daniel Cahill.

2024-25’s releases included Transatlantic Trance Map (Evan Parker, Matthew Wright and others); a 4 CD/book boxset by Evan Parker; Tremble with Joy (Cindytalk / Drekka); and a collaborative album by Astrïd and Sylvain Chauveau.

2026 releases: Kenny Wheeler Sextet; Matthew Wright; Tom Challenger & Evan Parker; and Andrew Poppy.

UK distribution: Shellshock/Proper Music (including some international territories).
International distribution: Soundohm (Italy).
